Devon & Matt’s Wedding at tihsreed lodge, florissant, co
Devon & Matt had their wedding at Tihsreed Lodge in Florissant, Colorado. The venue comes with a gorgeous lodge for the wedding party to stay and get ready in, and also has a cabin and apartments on site for more guests to stay in. The property has a barn for the reception and the area for the ceremony has a view of Pike’s Peak. Devon & Matt had a lot of family & friends from out of town and they were able to have a whole weekend of festivities at this beautiful location.
The details were stunning. The color palette was fall colors. The tables were all different mountains in Colorado with disco balls decorating the reception hall. The bouquets were beautiful dried flowers with feather accents. “So much yes” was the catchphrase of the weekend and you can tell all the guests were feeling it!
The groomsmen got ready in the apartment next to the reception hall and the bridesmaids got their hair and make-up done in the lodge. Matt had an orange suit jacket to go with the fall theme. I love when couples do something different with their wedding details & attire to make the wedding more unique to them! Devon’s dress was a gorgeous all lace dress with bell sleeves. She is a disco queen after all! After doing a first look with her dad, it was time to get ready to start the ceremony!
Matt’s brother Andrew officiated the wedding, and he had everyone laughing so hard the whole time. The rain held off until just after the ceremony. You could tell by the way Matt looked at Devon for the first time, and they way that they looked at each other the whole ceremony, that these two were definitely meant to be together. Every guest was laughing and crying. All the colors popped so beautifully on this overcast fall day.
After the ceremony we did the family & wedding party photos and as it started to rain the party moved into the barn for dinner. When the rain cleared up I took the opportunity to steal the newlyweds away for some private vows in an aspen grove. We popped some champagne to celebrate their marriage and headed back to the barn for a spectacular evening of dancing! Matt even DJ’ed his own party. It was so much fun!!
