Denver Golden Hour Engagement Session
Cal & Nicole at Crown Hill Park in Wheat Ridge, Colorado
One of my favorite parks in the Denver area is Crown Hill Park in Wheat Ridge. I love its wide open meadows, views of the mountains, and the lake. We started Cal & Nicole’s engagement photos there during golden hour which helped to create warm & bright images. I used a prism during this session to add some fun elements and I used black & white film to make double exposures.
As the sun went down and golden hour turned to blue hour, the full moon rose over the park. I then realized that the last time I did a photo shoot here, there was also a full moon rise. It was stunning and I’m so glad we got to have that for this photoshoot. We also got to play around with these mirrors I bought and I think it fit the mood so well.
